I went out and bought some not-so-shitty shitty acrylics, so i guess i should start working with them so i can, you know, learn to not suck balls with acrylic... yah?

And then i realize thati have no idea what to start painting in this situation.  I mean, i started using watercolors so long ago i haven't got a damn clue where i started with them... I have some nice technique books that i've used in the past, but they're just that, not a "this is a good subject to start painting because it will help you develop basic skills x, y and z."  Well, fine then, i guess i'll stare at my giant tube of titanium white paint and NOT work on anything.  is that what you want o cruel and temptuous art gods?

But yeah, in case someone actually sees this, any suggestions? otherwise, i'll probably just do something incredibly stupid like, say, trying to paint a face...
which will end in disaster, tears, and the general destruction in and around my area of habituation.
